1899 — The Cadillac Commercial Club was formed in March 1899.
1903 — The Cadillac Commercial Club transitioned to the Cadillac Board of Trade.
1905 — The Cadillac Board of Trade transitioned to the Cadillac Chamber of Commerce and a short time later added “Area” to be the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce which it is called today, making it one of the oldest continuously operating chambers in the state.
1976 — Governor’s Breakfast begins. This annual signature event dates back to 1976. The event has included participation from every Michigan governor since its inaugural year and has evolved into a business/education collaboration involving hundreds of area students.
1992 — Cadillac Leadership Program begins.The Chamber’s Leadership program has been building relationships since 1992. Its alumni consists of more than 600 community members.
