Dr. Brad Ward received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University, a Master of Arts in organizational management from Spring Arbor University, and his doctor of business administration from George Fox University. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt through the American Society for Quality/Villanova University. Brad recently published The Motivated Worker: A Manager’s Guide to Improving Job Satisfaction, through McFarland Publishing. Additional double blind, peer reviewed works have been published in the Journal of Ethics & Entrepreneurship, the IUP Journal of Organizational Behavior, and the Community College Journal of Research and Practice. He also presented at multiple Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society conferences.

The Cadillac Area Visitors Bureau is operated as a 501C6, under the Michigan Public Act 59, under the jurisdiction of MEDC/Travel Michigan, Pure Michigan brand. Through PA59 we collect an assessment of 5% on hotel fees from 16 lodging properties within our district. In this podcast, we highlight the destination development and place making initiatives we can support this upcoming year.

The Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance is a coalition of 16 chambers and economic development organizations from across northern Michigan. The Alliance partnership works from the premise that many legislative issues impact the U.P. and northern Lower Peninsula in similar ways. Our coalition exists to advocate for rural northern Michigan and move forward rural-centric business policy. In this podcast, we highlight the work of the NMCA and upcoming bills the organization is focusing on in relation to business members in the region.
