Each year, the Cadillac Leadership Class devotes a great deal of time and effort toward a worthy community service project. The 2016/2017 class has selected a project that we believe will be a significant asset to the community. Our goal is to purchase an EZ Launch Docking System to be placed in Lake Cadillac at the Mitchell State Park. We are working alongside the Friends of the Mitchell State Park to make this project a reality. At this time we are reaching out to obtain support through direct financial donations, in kind donations, and/or items that can be auctioned by the Leadership team at various Cadillac area events.

Community Service Project Request
Cadillac Leadership, a program of the Chamber will begin its twenty-seventh class in September. The Leadership program is designed to create leadership skill development and provide participants with a better understanding of the Cadillac area, its resources and challenges. The class of twenty-two adults will take part in monthly class sessions, numerous site visits and complete a community service project to benefit the greater Cadillac area. Are you or your employees aware of an organization that may have a service project suggestion for our new Leadership class? The goal of the project is to identify a community want or need and come to a consensus on how to work through the process to complete the project within 9 months (Sept. – May). The project presents an opportunity for the participants to work as a team, on committees, practice in project development skills while providing a direct benefit to enhance our area This is an opportunity to submit in writing, including cost, service project recommendations. Please be specific in what is required of the group, and the extent of your involvement as their community partner. The Leadership class will review all submissions. Selection will be based on the criteria of the Cadillac Leadership service project guidelines with final approval of the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
All entries must be submitted by 5:00 pm, on the last Friday in August, to Cadillac Leadership, 222 Lake Street, Cadillac, MI 49601.

A program for community awareness, networking and leadership skill development. This nine-month program is dedicated to the development of leadership skills through education, awareness and networking relationships.
